  • Remember to refresh your screen in order to see the most current bid.
  • Auction will close at 5:00 PM on July 29th, 2020. However closing will be extended as instructed below.
  • All auctions will utilize an auto-extend, horse race style closing. With this feature, the bidding will remain open on all items in the auction if there has been at least one bid received on any one item in the auction within the last 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes has lapsed without any bidding activity, the bidding on all items will be closed. All lots will close simultaneously. Please see the examples below – this is a sample and may or may not match the actual ending times.
    • Example #1:
Auction closes at 5 PM. There is no bidding from 4:55 PM to 5 PM. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 5 PM.
    • Example #2:
Auction closes at 5 PM. There is a bid placed at 4:57 PM. Auction is extended by 5 minutes. No more bidding occurs. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 5:02 PM.
    • Example #3:
Auction closes at 5 PM. There is a bid placed at 4:57 PM. Auction is extended by 5 minutes until 5:02 PM. Another bid is placed at 5:01 PM. No more bids are placed. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 5:06 PM.
  • What is the auto-extend time within the horse race style closing?
The auto-extend time goes into effect once the auction reaches its original ending time. The auction will remain open for bidding on all items within the auction if there has been at least one bid received on any one item in the auction within the last 5 minutes, even if the original ending time has been reached. Extended bidding means that the auction is not declared closed until there have been 5 minutes of inactivity on the entire auction. Each time a bid it placed, it resets the clock timer on the auction back to the high water mark auto-extend time that is set.
  • BIDS PLACED VIA ONLINE BIDDING SERVICES ARE FIRM COMMITMENTS TO PURCHASE AND MAY NOT BE CANCELED OR RETRACTED FOR ANY REASON.
  • AUCTION IS A PREMIUM SALE ONLY!!!! ANIMAL WILL REMAIN PROPERTY OF THE YOUTH AND NOT THE BUYER. THERE IS NO OPTION OF BUYER PURCHASING ANIMAL AND TAKING ANIMAL OR HAVING PROCESSED.
  • Bids are being placed by the head. What that means is if you place a bid for $1,000, it is for the whole animal, not $1,000 per pound.
  • If you are unavailable to bid on the last day you may go to the lot(s) you are interested in and place a “Maximum” bid and the computer will bid for you up to that maximum amount. You can still be outbid if someone bids more that your maximum, however, you MAY also win the bid at a lower amount. If you are outbid, you are still able to log in and bid additional amounts.
  • There is no buyer's premium on this auction.
  • Winning bidder will receive an emailed invoice within 24 hours of closing.
  • Multiple Buyers: If you have multiple buyers please send all checks together along with copy of invoice.
  • Buyers may pay their invoices by check or credit card. Please call Sarah Verdone at 636-544-8914 BEFORE THE AUCTION if you plan to pay by check so that your credit card does not get charged.
  • Invoices can be paid by check made payable to United Country Land and Lake Properties and mailed to P.O. Box 490, Rhineland, MO 65069. A 20% surcharge will be assessed to any insufficient funds check received.
  • We do accept credit cards through registration in HiBid. A 3% credit card convenience fee will be added.
